Martin D45 - An Honest Review - Legendary Classic!
I have the C D 140 SCE. No rough frets ,no high frets . All mahogany and a great sound ,especially when plugged in.
Glad you got a good one! What year did you get?
Ten years ago I bought dozens of these at pawn shops for less than a hundred bucks. Now the go for nearly six hundred. The custom shop limited editions go for nine hundred.
Spit your gum out if you are going to record a video.
Learned my lesson!
Is it deluxe o deluxe k?
Deluxe K
Jake Hill is such an underrated artist. Range doesn't even begin to describe him.
bro U deserved a another subscriber because you're fr please do a tutorial for that
*says the high strings sound squaky* *proceeds to make it sound like a million dollar guitar*
I really like this guitar for the price! Sometimes we can play around weirdness but it came be distracting while playing
This baby is the best guitar I ever heard, it's sitting here next to me. It's expensive, but you only buy it once, it's beautifully built. SOUNDS LIKE A PIANO to my damaged old head. Keep on jazzin'.
Love it!
Underrated
I started mandolin a little while ago and first off I LOVE ITTT, also I got a Washburn m108swk and it’s outstanding, I definitely recommend
Here’s a better version from 13 years ago and he builds a travel case/amp. ua-cam.com/video/v1Wys6tzSPI/v-deo.htmlsi=4bfQWooGMFY1vYJj
My samick GPH100 is toast. The PCB is destroyed from heat damage. Not repairable.
I own a Summit Convertible. Love it! They are increasingly difficult to find. I you find one, snap it up. Great demo.
Is it small or you are just a tall person?
The body is on the smaller side! Full scale neck though
still sound tinney
show us an easy version
Recently got a new guitar and was wondering why it sounded a bit off - this helped solve the problem! 🙏🏻
Great review! I have an infatuation with Parker guitars. You can really change their personality with different strings. I found some copper strings that seem to be made for this maple/cedar combination. I use the 12's; they absolutely make this guitar sing. I also have the P6, P7, P9. & P28. They're all the same shape, but made of different tonewoods. I like to play around with string combinations, so it was interesting to hear the differences between models using the same strings. Having two outputs is handy, too. I like to run a clean signal with the balanced output directly to the soundboard, and the line out to a processor for looping & reverb.
Hola. Me ofrecen está guitarra en 500 dólares en argentina... Está en muy buen estado.. vale la pena ?
i mean it sells in south korea which is made at 80sa t korea for about 200 bucks, but here its a manufacturing country at the time.
thank u for the tabs to this hidden gem
Hey man can you make a tutorial on "running to you" by jake hill? I've watched every single tutorial and would love to see that one as well
I recently purchased an L4-A and mine I believe is a 2006 year of production. From what I've found they were only produced in the mid 2000's but the L4 line goes back to the 30's. Hands down the best sounding (and probably one of the prettiest) guitars I've ever played or owned.
Rare and incredible instruments!
Can you do 27 Club by Lil Revive 🙏❤️
I have a older CD140 fender in spruce…. Also own a taylor 410ce and an older Alvarez… my Fender to me is best sounding unplugged that I own when all have same strings etc….
Some older Fender guitars can be great! I've noticed them cutting corners on the more recent stuff.
I'm sure he's an okay person, but man, he should have done his research. This is not the way to do a review.
Very cool. I recently rescued an original 1957 Guild X50 which is basically almost identical looks wise but thicker body. In the process of restoring it but even unplugged its super resonant and plays great. Very cool that they brought back something so similar to the X50.
just got this guitar, neck great , sound great , trem arm crap , so all in all its a strat for me
Great guitar for the money!
@@RamonaMusicCenter Its not about money the guitar is ok but thats it,a Strat it is not ., i bought this with reviews a big mistake as the trem assembly is total crap , In hindsight i would not have got one i would rather get a strat any day . If they were that good Hank Marvin would use one .
Not very good background knowledge.
My nephew Jake bought one of the Korean hybrid models for my younger brother Ray (“Mac”) and he loves it. Mac has an unbelievable collection of top shelf Fender, Gibsons and Ibanez but when he broke out his Michael Kelly and let me try it I was so impressed with it I was speechless. This guitar made me play and sound like I knew what I was doing with a guitar almost a real musician. Mac was even surprised. So much so that he searched out another Korean hybrid and purchased it FOR ME. I also own several nice instruments but this Michael Kelly is the one I go to first. Mac and I both shaved the bridge to lower the action a bit but that’s the beginning for me. I mounted a Roland GR-3 to go along with my GR-55 synth. I have it all now. Our matching guitars are so similar side by side the only real differences are the external piezo and Mac’s headstock reads Michael Kell, no “Y”. LoL factory foul up. At jam practice this last weekend the “lead” guitarist had Mac turn his Kell down. It cut through the mix so well everyone thought he had cranked up his volume when Al he had done was swap out instruments. We love these guitars so much I’m in search for one for Jake who is a died in the wool headstock sticker man. I cannot say enough good about this model. Thanks, Pops Fitch
Can you reply the chords
On the spalted maple: I believe its authentic. I have one, yet no one of those guitars are identical. I believe if it was printed, you would lose any 'unique' identity
Great to hear! Thank you@
Thanks man, had a busted pickup and also the switch was loose and causing all kinds of buzz on top of this.
Thank you very much, I just wanted to learn that sound.
I just bought a Firefly SG style guitar and had this exact same problem out the box. The bridge pickup would not not function properly. So as you did I had to flick back and forth until the sound engaged. It really sucked everytime I wanted to change the sound it felt as if it had muted so I had to stop playing to fix it every time I needed the bridge.
I have one.
thoughts?
I wonder what it sounds like played acoustically.
What happens if my nut completely broke in half? I accidentally dropped my guitar and the nut broke in half. The strings are fine and still play. But do you have any advice?
broken in the middle?
Yes
soooo....what do they cost ?
These were around 250 ish but harder to find these days
Niceeee💚💚💚
Thats a great guitar, lots of cool innovations
It really is!
I have one of these; I love it; light and easy to use. One problem though, two inlays fell out of the neck less than a year after I bought it.
One of my favorites by YB🥲💚
Hey man , can you PLEASE make a tutorial on 'i feel nothing' by lil revive , i am in love with that song and wanna learn it on guitar !
Charvel neck? Lol
Sweet man, thanks, I just got one in, gonna give it a go. I use picks so it might be brighter, even. I might get a very short patch cable to add to the input, so if I step on it,hopefully it’ll just come out instead of taking the pickup and bridge with it. I am very likely to do that. Good review.
Right on! Let me know how it works out!
Very nice cheers
currently I'm looking for an issue, which is really hard to exlain. The guitar setups are really almost similar between my 2 guitars yamaha fg800 and furch red deluxe. But somehow I always play with yamaha with much less mistakes and random buzzing, but only when I play it actively and hard stuff. If I test note by note on all frets and strings - It doesnt have any buzz at all. So there is high chance, that I'm just bad :D but after your video I found that 15th fret is heigher than all the others. I dont play on 12+ Frets, 12th is maximum. Do you think that It "can" be an issue in my case or should I look on another aspects? p.s. Nut 100% fine. Even need to lower it a bit.
High frets anywhere will cause problems so I would definitely start there!
Starwars
Not sure, but I'll take the Linguini and a Chianti Riserva...
hahahha
Great guitar! As a poor man One could buy a DeArmond M75T. Load it with TV Jones T Armonds, and for under $1k you're there.
